Hi Anita.
I just wanted to comment that I have been saving a Barnes and Noble $30 gift certificate for weeks now, knowing that your book was soon coming out.
I was extremely disappointed when B&N told me that they were not going to be carrying your book so I could not order it with them Is this accurate??
This did not make my day....I was sooo looking forward to buying it or at least ordering it.
Edee
Sounds to me like you got a lazy salesperson. The book isn't available yet, but I'd be very much surprised if they didn't carry it. In any case, B&N usually will do special orders without extra charges, so try that. The book has only this week started to ship from the warehouse, so they may not have it in their distributors' warehouses yet or in their computers. It has been selling like gangbusters on Amazon.com and it looks like they have it listed as published now, so those books will be shipped soon. Hang in there, I think you'll be able to use that certificate.

Maybe B&N has an overstock of the original book. That might explain their reluctance to carry the new one right away. You should still be able to order it from them, though, by special order.
For Edee and all--Barnes & Noble and Borders Books are now showing my book, The New Creative Artist, in stock with shipping in 24 hours. Amazon.com has started to ship their pre-paid pre-publication orders, too. So you should be able to find it or order it just about anywhere on the planet.
