An apt quotation for sure.
I don't know that I want to be violent in my work but I do want to be original ... if that is remotely possible. But I agree that some degree of regularity and order on one's life helps one to focuse on one's art.
Maybe be regularity and order in our day to day lives gives a sense of control over the 'ordinary' and frees up our spirits to strive to be 'extraordinary'?
