I love fog
I have no idea why, but when I saw today's post The Colors of Fog on one of my favorite blogs, colourlovers.com, I realized what part of the attraction is. The differences in fog colors aren't usually so apparent, but certainly for an artist or photographer there are innumerable ways to generate color excitement in what most people think of as dull gray. Don't you love it?

I must tell you that this winter I finally "got it" when you talk about pearly colors in your books. I was driving through our central Iowa countryside with a thin, low cloud ceiling. The greys, siennas & umbers of the landscape just had a pearly glow about them. It was such a wonderful "AHA" moment for me.
A lovely set of foggy pics! Thank you... I love the sky, weather, and sunsets and rises... There was an especially nice cloud formation that I posted about this evening.
